About Communication

Communication is transmitting information from speaker to listener. One can communicate by many means. For the podcast project we are doing in our Japanese class, both verbal and nonverbal means of communication will be critical in getting our point across to the listeners. Nonverbal communication will be especially important because we are trying to convey complex information with a language barrier. I hope to learn how to use my Japanese ability, limited though it may be at this point, to tell others about New York and the cultural treasures it harbors, and learn more about New York myself in the process.

  1. Hello, Zachary-san,

I hope your podcast project is not only communicating information but also conveying some messages from your group about "cultural treasures" in NYC.

Good luck for your podcast project!

  2. Thank you!
We are also talking about why Japanese culture is important in New York and what its presence shows about New York as a city.
